Charlayne Woodard is an award-winning playwright and actor, whose plays include Flight, In Real Life, Neat, The Night Watcher , Pretty Fire. She has been awarded the Outer Critics Circle Award, and several LA Drama Critics and NAACP awards. As an actress she is known for her roles in the screen adaptation of The Crucible, Unbreakable and the television shows Roseanne and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. A former board-member of The Sundance Institute and Manhattan Theatre Club, she currently serves on the Council of the Dramatists Guild of America.
