Walter Lister was an American journalist and editor with the New York Post, Philadelphia Record and Philadelphia Bulletin. He was the co-author, with his friend George S. Brooks, of the Broadway play, Spread Eagle, which opened on Broadway in April 1921 and ran for eighty performances, before its transfer to London.
