With over 100 plays, the Aurora Metro Books Collection 2 will offer a highly diverse list of new drama. Featuring writers of colour, women playwrights, and other traditionally underrepresented writers, these thought-provoking plays span a wide range of contemporary issues.

The collection offers Iranian plays, South African plays, British East Asian plays, plays that redefine disability, Asian women's drama, feminist theatre, plays for young people, and more.

Highlights include:

Three Mothers: Enforced migration and refugee status are the backdrop to this inspiring, uplifting, and intertwined story, spanning a time-frame of 60 years, of women’s determination to carry on and create a new life.

Durban Dialogues: Then and Now: Described through Singh’s satirical lens, these thought-provoking plays, with their focus on people of Indian origin, portray the challenges of life in post-Apartheid South Africa.

Women of Asia: Inspired by true stories, this critically acclaimed modern play explores the everyday abuse and exploitation of Asian women and their struggles to obtain freedom.
